Playa Paraiso

What to do here

Located just a mile south of the Tulum ruins, adventure is found snorkeling and scuba diving through the crystal clear waters. Relaxation along the shore is effortless with the variety of hammocks, lounge chairs, and umbrellas available. Refreshments are available from beach bars and carts.

The Tulum Ruins

These clifftop ruins were constructed by the Mayans as a sea port overlooking the clear carribbean waters.

What to do here

This port city was inhabited between the 13th and 16th centuries. Visitors can walk through and take pictures of the several templos (temples) and castillos (castles) found within the city walls. Inside these structures are murals and other remnants of religious artifacts.

Laguna de Kaan Luum

Located deep within the jungle, this hidden gem is known as Tulum's secret sinkhole.

What to do here

Experience the tranquility and beauty of this transparent shallow lake circling a deep cenote. The calm shallow waters offer a place to relax, and appeal to swimmers and waders alike. There are two piers, along with hammocks and swings that hang over the water that are perfect for sun bathing.
